I am 28 year old programmer living in Prague, Czech Republic. I currently study Information Technologies at the University of Economics and work for Vodafone Czech Republic. I love programming and almost everything else regarding computers and computer science. I am interested in both Back End and Front End development. I am a fan of Apple products, but I can work with all common OSs (macOS, Windows, Linux). In my free time I like going to the gym, playing squash, running, going to sauna, reading books or simply spending time with my friends. I also have a deep interest in behavioural economics.
I study Applied Informatics at this University. During the course of my studies I was able to work with Java, PHP, Javascript and other programming languages. I completed 2 database courses - Database Management Systems and Introduction to Database Administration (Oracle). Some of the other courses I graduated from were Fundamentals of SW Testing, Information and Knowledge Processing, BI Fundamentals, SW Engineering and Information Systems Security. I also studied the basics of Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance and Law there.
I studied Informatics (Computer Science) there. I learned to program in C based languages (C, C++, Java) and submitted a lot of projects written in these languages. I also worked with Linux terminal a lot. We learned the basics of Assembler and computer circuitry. I also learned a lot of interesting principles and algorithms. It was a valuable experience, but I decided that the school wasn't right for me and left for Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics.
A school focused on languages and science. I loved studying Math, Physics, Computer Science and English there. I participated in many activities (floorball, teambuildings for younger students, math contests...).
